Communications Professional
I have over 20-years of professional experience in internal and external business communications, including crisis emergency response team representative. I have extensive experience in corporate, utility, higher-education, ministry, nonprofit, and large and small business. I have adapted processes over the years as the technological landscape continuously changes. I have over seven years of experience working at a higher education institution at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and over four years working as the lead website administrator for the university. Leadership and Collaboration
I enjoy being part of a diverse and collaborative teams. I have demonstrated experience collaborating with key stakeholders, executive management, developers, designers, information technology teams, communication leaders, and support personnel. I feel comfortable taking the lead on projects and providing continued support and communications after deployment. In my current role, I oversee the website work of one full-time employee, and manage and oversee the work for 3 student work study/interns. Within my direct team, I take the lead to define the website and digital content strategies to align with each university project. I enjoy working with many colleagues across the campus and collaborate and develop communication techniques for their specific needs. I develop and maintain the university website publisher training materials and have classroom trained over 100 publishers over the last 18 months. In 2018, I produced and launched an online training portal that offers resources and videos training materials to create training time efficiencies by reducing classroom training sessions.

My experience in reporting and analysis includes: data interpretation, report writing and configuration, and data development and distribution.

I have over 15 years of experience in project management, including developing project plans, project organization, budgeting, vendor management, and resource management. I have demonstrated experience working with both internal and external audiences and have managed medium-sized projects and teams. I have managed, administered and developed multiple websites and applications. I have I have over 25 years of experience working in external and internal business communications, including work in safety communications in a corporate setting. I have over 10 years working in natural gas load growth, electric utility marketing and external affairs, and 13 years of writing, editing and staff management experience working for daily newspapers. I am adept at working with key stakeholders on projects ranging in difficulty from simple to complex and multi-layered. Project Management

Property Management
Cleaning and routine maintenance of a 3,200 square foot home rented to AirBNB and VRBO guests to meet or exceed CDC, AirBNB and VRBO Covid guidelines
Inspect the property after guests have checked out for any needed maintenance and repair or guest damage
Hire contractors to assist with cleaning and laundry, as needed, which includes a post-job inspection
Conduct upkeep of a 265-gallon hot tub on the property, including testing and balancing chemical levels, cleaning, water changes and equipment maintenance to keep the hot tub in safe working condition for guests
Use Trello to keep a running inventory of supplies consumed during guest stays and to track short-and long term maintenance and property improvement project
Manage booking details using Microsoft Excel
As the property managers, we are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week
Complete minor repairs needed on the property, including interior and exterior carpentry, drywall and roofing repairs, plumbing maintenance and repair, and simple electrical repairs
We handle all maintenance on the property or hiring contractors to complete the work as needed
Maintain water system including an underground well, pumping system and filter systems.
Assemble bids for repair or upgrade projects on the property and present the bids to the owners
